Esme Prince’s low-key obsession for the vilest of villains, Ryan Chamberlain, has many people talking. What does a nice (okay, not so nice) young lady want with a convicted serial killer? GH spoilers hint there is something going on between these two, and we think we know exactly what it is.
GH Spoilers Wild Speculation
It seemed a little strange for Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) to want to visit Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) family in a prison facility. Why would she trek all the way to Spring Ridge and meet Spencer’s aunt for the first time while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is in lockup?
It’s not like the young couple is getting married. Heck, Spencer barely recognizes Esme as his girlfriend. Odd, right? Well, not so much when you consider the possibility she was never really there to see Alexis at all. It was just a cover for Esme to get close to the infamous killer.
GH: Daddy Dearest
Why would she want to get up close and personal with someone like Ryan (Jon Lindstrom)? While it’s not uncommon for serial criminals to have a rather odd fanbase, we don’t think Esme is just fangirling. No, we think it’s something more. In fact, we’re sure it is. Our best guess is Esme was there to visit her father!

Think about it, Ryan was off the radar for over two decades (in real-time, which is more in soap time). That’s plenty of time to get cozy with a lady friend and father a child (or maybe even more than one). It would make sense for him to have a daughter. It makes even more sense for that child to have an evil streak a mile long – which, as we know, Esme does. She’s having quite a good time torturing Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). It’s a series of schemes right up Ryan’s alley — and the target is a woman he loved.
General Hospital: A Hellish Duo
Our questions now are: who is Esme’s mother, does Ryan know he’s her father, and where do we go from here? Esme is getting herself set up to get close to her dear, old dad and we can’t see that ending well for anyone but Ryan and Esme. This evil father/daughter team could set Port Charles ablaze and hurt anyone and everyone along the way. Talk about a dangerous duo!
