Daytime vet Cady McClain, beloved for years as Dixie on All My Children, and General Hospital’s Jon Lindstrom have been married since 2014, and the couple proves time and again just how much they adore each other.
Cady McClain’s Loving Tribute To Jon Lindstrom
McClain, who was last seen on daytime filling in as Jennifer Horton Deveraux when Melissa Reeves took a short hiatus — a guest spot that earned the popular Cady McClain her third Daytime Emmy win — took to her Instagram account to gush about her husband.
She posted an article about Lindstrom and had lots of kind things to say. “This is my husband Jon. He is a professional actor. He is also a great husband,” she wrote. “He is funny, fun, kind, considerate, and adorable. He’s a great friend, a good cook, and a responsible and thoughtful partner in life. He’s a genuine person – he really cares about doing the right thing, about making quality art, and about making a positive difference in the world.”
A lot of those same qualities are in half of the characters he plays on GH, given Kevin Collins is generally regarded as a nice guy — at least when he’s not keeping secrets about his evil twin! And unlike Ryan Chamberlain, McClain goes on to say how her hubby doesn’t need to be the center of everything.

“He knows how to share and how to give props when they are due with no BS,” she wrote. “I’m so proud to be married to this man. And I just wanted to make that fact public. Our marriage is a very sweet and a very valuable thing. I treasure it. Happy ‘Not Really Our Anniversary But Who Cares,’ baby. This one’s for you,” ending with a heart emoji.
Jon Lindstrom was flattered by the loving words, responding, “Wow! I wasn’t expecting that … but I’ll take it! Thank you my love!!” Many fans oohed and aahed at the happy couple and their lovefest, as did Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali, Days of our Lives; ex-Carly Corinthos/Kim Nero, GH) who piped in, “I love this so much. You two are wonderful!”
