ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith makes another appearance as Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) trusted security advisor, Brick, on Friday, April 1. Look for Sonny to seek out the character’s expertise on a special matter.
Kin Shriner pops in as Scott Baldwin on Monday, March 28. The Port Charles lawyer will offer advice to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
After a brief absence, Inga Cadranel is back on the scene as Harmony Miller. Priscilla Garita (ex-Gabi, Sunset Beach) had subbed for Cadranel for several episodes.
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
