Austin Gatlin-Holt has been on General Hospital for months now, and still no love interest. Sure, he’s gone out looking for love alongside Britt Westbourne or showed puppy dog eyes at Maxie Jones, but he is still alone.

This must not be allowed to stand! If the man doesn’t fall in love ASAP, we have no idea what his purpose is. Which is why almost 2,000 fans insist this should be the woman he falls for:
GH: To the Maxie
It’s been leaning in that direction for a while now, which is why 47% of you are pretty sure Austin (Roger Howarth) is destined to be with Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Sure, there was some lying and some blackmail, and some overall deception involved.
But what’s love without some – all? – of those things? Sure, Maxie comes off like she’s barely outgrown her teenage mania, and Austin seems more like a creepy uncle when he’s around her. But, again, who doesn’t?

General Hospital: It’s Britt Westbourne
Now Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), on the other hand, seems like she’s more Austin’s speed, and not just because they’re both doctors…and grown-ups, 31% of the audience insists. She seems like she could keep up with and even outsmart him, which is always fun.
Plus, she needs to get over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), fast, lest, like with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), it devolves into a lifelong obsession. Focus on someone new, Britt, and forget the guy who you loved so passionately…for a hot minute.
GH: Look Around, Look Around
Austin shouldn’t be forced to commit yet, 25% of fans refuse to be forced into anything on behalf of the good doctor. Neither Maxie nor Britt seem like perfect fits, and he should wait until he finds someone who is. And that person should be someone new — someone without a complicated history. Well, at least a complicated history with him. How about…Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)…for no obvious reason we can put our finger on.
