General Hospital Star Nancy Lee Grahn Has A Birthday Wish For Kate

It was exactly twenty-three years and one day ago, that Nancy Lee Grahn welcomed her daughter Katharine Grace into the world. To mark the special day, the General Hospital star took to social media and shared both an adorable flashback clip from Kate’s childhood and the news that her pride and joy will be releasing her first mini-album in March!

Nancy Lee Grahn Celebrates Her Daughter’s Milestones

On her Instagram, Grahn shared a TikTok video, filmed and edited by Kate, that revealed the music collection’s release date: March 12. Through the text that accompanied her video, Kate explained that she had, “Graduated from music school right when the pandemic started. So I recorded my first EP. There was laughter, a lot of tears, but mostly a whole lotta (safe) fun.”

Kate, a graduate of the prestigious Thorton School of Music at the University of Southern California, has long been lyrically gifted – and her talents have not gone unnoticed or unrewarded.

A romantic ballad, penned and performed by the young songstress was used in an episode of the series Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. And in the past few months alone, she’s released two singles, Untangling and The Name, to great acclaim.

Untangling, which made its debut in December 2020, and can be downloaded from your preferred music streaming service, was a deeply personal project for Kate, as it featured her reckoning with the mental health disorders from which she suffers: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Tic Disease.

In addition to advertising her daughter’s artistic endeavor, Grahn also shared a throwback video featuring her little birthday girl, in her younger days, delighting an audience with a comedy routine concerning someone in desperate want of coffee.
