You don’t often find former General Hospital star Billy Miller on social media as he has no personal social media accounts. However, every so often he still checks in with his legion of fans via surrogates.
Former co-star and close friend Kelly Monaco has let us know what’s going on with this popular star in the past and now his manager, Marnie Sparer. A fan took to Twitter to ask how he was doing and Sparer was quick with a short update and pic of Miller.
“Billy is healthy, making great use of his ‘rona mask while working on his home.
He asked me to send his love,” Sparer tweeted.
Indeed the photo does show him with a bandana over his face and a shirt full of paint. Most people are trying to do something with their time during stay-at-home orders and home improvement projects seem to be quite popular. We guess they are with Miller, as well.
GH hasn’t been the same since Billy Miller departed his role as Drew Cain last summer. There was some question about whether he was let go from the show or whether he left on his own, but there has been no confirmation either way.
The door was definitely left open for his return considering that Drew was allegedly killed in a plane crash set into motion by Peter August, yet a body was never found. Currently, it looks like Liesl Obrecht is about to wrongly go down for that crime.
If Drew ever returned, fans would be thrilled as there was so much story left to play with this long-lost Quartermaine character. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
