Staying safe at home during this coronavirus pandemic doesn’t mean you still can’t keep in touch with people. Thanks to social media, our favorite daytime actors are able to reach out to us and some, like Days of our Lives icon Deidre Hall, want to know how you are doing — and she’s figured out a way to find out!
Deidre Hall: Starting A Conversation
The legendary star took to Instagram and told fans she wants to know how everyone is doing, and she’s created a way to find that out. She shot a video with details but also wrote a caption alongside it.
“I was sitting in my favorite snuggly slip-covered armchair, wearing my favorite rainy weather sweatshirt and thinking how our world has drastically and frighteningly changed. Not just for you and me, but for every person on the planet. We’re all feeling scared and lonely. Thought chatting might help. Stay safe, stay close. Submit your questions…” she wrote.

In the video, the beloved actress went a bit into detail about what has motivated her to reach out. “Hi there, I’m home. Well, we’re all home. It’s been a while since we’ve chatted and I was thinking this might be a really good time to communicate — what we’re all trying to do more of these days and it occurred to me this might be a nice way to do it.
“Because I’m curious about what you’re doing, how you’re getting by, what you’re eating, what you’re cooking, where you’re shopping, who you’re seeing, what you’re watching — I mean besides Schitt’s Creek,” she enthused. “We just finished it.
“So let’s give this a try. I can chat to you from my family room and you can tell me what’s on your mind. Maybe we’ll just open a dialogue that way. So that would really work for me.
