The General Hospital recaps for August 2 – August 6, 2021, feature Harrison Chase rumbling Willow Tait Chase and Michael Corinthos’s relationship, and karma catching up to Stella Henry.
General Hospital Recaps Highlight
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) failed to appreciate Harmony’s (Inga Cadranel) seemingly sincere olive branch, and the interloper was turned away by Chase (Josh Swickard). After being emboldened by a well-meaning Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), Chase decided to surprise Willow by showing off his improved mobility.
Upon reaching the house, the men quickly deduced that Willow and Michael (Chad Duell) were upstairs making love; their suspicions were soon confirmed, when they spied the pair leaving the guest house together.
General Hospital Recaps: Fault Lines
Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) snapped at one another over the latter’s continued insistence on involving herself in mob business. Jax’s argument increased in merit when Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) makes a point of approaching Joss and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
GH Recaps: Best of Intentions
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) foisted Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) onto Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), claiming that the woman would serve her college well as a secretary; she’s quickly proven wrong. However, Brook Lynn relented when Sasha explained her and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) untenable situation, and how getting Gladys on her own two feet is the only way they’ll be able to pursue a life together.
GH Recaps: Share and Share Alike
Despite Terry Randolph’s (Cassandra James) pleas to the contrary, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) made up her mind to decline Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) offer that they share the Chief-of-Staff position.
However, in a chat with Jax – during which they both agree that Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are marrying each other for reasons other than love – she has a change of heart.
General Hospital Recaps: Mixed Messages
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was perturbed to learn that Harmony is one of Spring Ridge’s employees – and that she’s been tasked with tending to Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom). The former legal eagle’s suspicions were further raised when she watched Harmony assist Ryan in composing a letter.
When Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) come-a-calling, Alexis shared her findings. Nikolas compelled Harmony to offer them unfettered access to Ryan’s missives; contained therein is one addressed to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
GH Recaps: Cheat Sheet
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) urged Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to tell her daughter about the affair they had while she was married to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews); she refuses to do.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) later eavesdropped on a pointed conversation between Portia and Stella (Vernee Watson) and learned the truth. While Portia did her best to explain the sordid situation to the distraught young woman, Stella filled Curtis in on her faux pas; Stella collapses at Kelly’s Diner, and tests reveal she’s suffered a stroke. She suitably recovered, but she had no memory of swiping Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis’s divorce papers.
General Hospital Recaps: A Million Miles Away (Or So It Seems)
During an intimate confab with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), “Mike” (Maurice Benard) relayed the memory he had of saying goodbye to a loved one; Nina knows that he’s referring to Mike Corbin.
Nina is heartened when Brook Lynn arranges for a video call with Wiley, but she nervously puts an end to it when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) enters the frame; “Mike” senses her unease, but Nina plays it off.
Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) surprised Nina with the news that she ran into Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at the hospital in New York, and after seeing her reaction, Phyllis encouraged Nina to make peace with her ex.
