The General Hospital recaps for November 1 – November 5, 2021, feature quid-pro-quo agreements, stealth manipulation, grievous bodily harm, and so much more.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) requested a meeting. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) arrive, and fill them in on what transpired in Crete. Dante confesses that he and Sam are traversing a new relationship; Carly and Sonny privately voice their approval.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) reach Cassadine Island. Jason heads for the fortified compound, while an armed Britt awaits his return inside a hut…Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) awakens inside a makeshift laboratory. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) informs her that she will endeavor to reunite him with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) confronts Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and relays Shawn Butler’s theory that Nik is responsible for hiring the man who shot Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Nik’s attempts to deflect confirm Spencer’s worst fears.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) reaches Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) before she can tell Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that he isn’t Bailey’s father. In order to keep Gladys quiet, Brook Lynn hands over her own personal credit card. Afterward, Brook Lynn warns Maxie that Gladys is on to their secret.
Liesl throws acid on Peter’s person and flees…Jason comes upon a wounded Peter…Liesl arrives at Britt’s hideaway. Taken by surprise, Britt shoots her mother with a spear gun.
Britt field dresses Liesl’s wound; mother and daughter catch up. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), still under Peter’s thrall, descends upon the women. When apprised of this development, Jason gives up his gun and surrenders to Peter…Harmony (Inga Cadranel) encourages Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to accept the pardon, regardless of the strings that may come with it; her efforts are for not.
General Hospital’s Spencer seeks out Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) in the hopes that she’ll offer him some comfort. Instead, she challenges him to prove himself worthy of being her friend, and deserving of her support…Nikolas tells Shawn that Hayden has always known who ordered the hit on her. He then offers Shawn $500,000 to drop his investigation; Shawn passes…Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) needles Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about her virginity.
Brook Lynn and Maxie debate how to best handle Gladys. Maxie hires a PI to delve into the woman’s background…Cyrus tells Sonny that Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) is planning to avenge his uncle’s murder…Joey attempts to intimidate Carly…Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) makes a sketch of the man interested in Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) based on a description supplied by Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr); that same man confronts Joey on the pier in Port Charles.
Despite Valentin’s best efforts to convince him to do the magnanimous thing, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) refused to disclose Peter’s whereabouts without an immunity deal…A grievously injured Joey is rushed to General Hospital.
Shawn accuses Nikolas of having Naomi Dreyfus killed; he denies the charges. Shawn accepts Nikolas’s offer to help clear his name – and a “donation” of $5 million…Esme begins her internship at Spring Ridge. When the opportunity to speak to Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) presents itself, Esme promises him that she’ll, “take care of everything.”
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) offers to underwrite an exhibit of Joel Sartore’s Photo Ark, in Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) name – all in hopes of getting back into her good graces. Later, he catches Liv smooching Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) whom he punches!
Shawn delights Alexis with the details of his bargain with Nikolas. Alexis receives her governor’s pardon…Sonny pays Joey a visit and reveals that the Corinthos Organization will be absorbing what’s left of the Novak stronghold…Spencer plans to grovel before Ava in order to access his trust fund, but Trina encourages him to be his own man. In response, Spencer declares that he has accepted Ava and Nikolas’s marriage – and that he’s renouncing his princely title.
