The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, August 10, 2021, features Sam McCall and Shawn Butler stumbling upon a body, Austin Holt attempting to lure Harrison Chase over to his side, and Nikolas Cassadine planning to teach his evil son a lesson.
Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) is dead – and somehow already ice-cold – which really rather complicates Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Shawn’s (Sean Blakemore) investigation.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is called to the scene of the crime and is convinced by Sam, Shawn, and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that Naomi met with foul play.
While Austin (Roger Howarth) tried to get Chase (Josh Swickard) firmly on his side, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) called an emergency Q family meeting and revealed that Tracy (Jane Elliot) purposefully stymied the reconciliation between Edward Quartermaine and Jimmy Lee Holt – meaning that Austin may well have cause to challenge Edward’s will after all.
After much discussion, the group decides that rather than honor what may have very well been Edward’s dying wish, they’re going to deny Austin his share of ELQ, and instead attempt to buy him off with cold hard cash. Good luck team!
After a tense exchange, it appeared that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had managed to alleviate Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) of any fears he may have that Spencer colluded with Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom)…fact chance!
Not only is Nikolas as suspicious as ever, but he’s learned that Spencer is planning to throw an epic rager at Wyndemere – and Daddy Dearest has decided to make sure it’ll be a party that his son will never forget!
