The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 7, 2021, features Valentin Cassadine learning an incredibly inconvenient truth, Sam McCall and Dante Falconeri accelerating – and then slowing – their roll, and Harrison Chase (attempting) to impart some words of wisdom to Brook Lynn Quartermaine.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
If it were an episode of Maury, it would have to be seen to be believed. Not only is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) the son of the dreaded dragon Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), but his papa is none other than Helena’s brother-in-law Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)! Now, if history has taught us anything, it’s that Valentin should be incredibly dubious where this revelation is concerned.
Elsewhere, at the exact same time that Valentin was dealing with his paternity pickle (“My father! My uncle! My uncle! My father!), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) came under heavy fire from a masked fiend…ultimately revealed to be a brainwashed Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
GH Recap: First Things First
Just in case Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) didn’t get the memo the first time, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) reiterated her truth: Drew Cain means absolutely nothing to her; zero, zilch; she wouldn’t even be looking for him if he weren’t Scout’s father. All that is music to Dante’s ears, because he’s got a confession to make: he really, really likes Sam. And Sam really, really likes him too. But one romantic smooch will have to suffice until Scout’s daddy is rescued from whatever hellhole he’s been tossed into. Priorities.
General Hospital Recap: Think Before You Act
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) are friends; good friends, in point of fact. Please excuse Maxie while her head explodes. This is something that she did not see coming.
Equally mind-boggling is Brook Lynn’s seeming acceptance that maybe Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) isn’t the piece of scum that she thinks he is….nah, she’s actually got a scheme up her sleeve.
