General Hospital Recap: Sonny Wants Ms. Wu To Solve His Peter Problem

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 9, 2021, features Sonny Corinthos outsourcing Peter August’s murder, Nikolas Cassadine and Ava Jerome Cassadine recommitting themselves to one another, and Laura Collins refusing to cower any longer.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Just when it seemed like Sonny (Maurice Benard) would selfishly let Peter (Wes Ramsey) live to see another day, along came Maxie Jones (Kirsten Jones) and her plea for Sonny to man up and get the job done.

Well aware of the fact that even the Keystone cops *ahem* PCPD would suspect him if Peter turned up dead, Sonny turned to Madame Wu (Lydia Look). She agreed to help her good buddy out – but she wanted something in return. And not a piddling something.

Wu wanted Sonny to make damn sure that her nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), scourge of the Corinthos family, would be granted parole. After much hemming and hawing, Sonny agreed to get his man on the inside to vote in Brad’s favor – but that’s all he promised to do. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) can still get up and show himself, and Brad will be a dead duck should he obtain his freedom and then come anywhere near Michael or Wiley.

GH Recap: All Or Nothing

Ava (Maura West) had but one request of Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) – complete, unabashed honesty. And she got it. Now the truth about Hayden Barnes’s (Rebecca Budig) shooting is out in the open, and there’s not a single secret between Ava and Nikolas. Off to make love by the fireplace they go!

General Hospital Recap: Fighting Fire With Fire

It’s Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and the strongest toilet plunger known to man, to the rescue! Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his one-woman hit squad have been foiled, and Laura is convinced that it’s time to return to Port Charles…because Cyrus is totally not going to try anything so untoward as having her or Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) killed again.

Meanwhile, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was only slightly aghast to hear about Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) upcoming trial. What actually threw her for a loop, was learning that Sonny and Mike from Nixon Falls were one and the same.
