General Hospital Recap: Nina Recalls The Heat, Sonny Remains Cold

The General Hospital recap for Friday, September 24, 2021, features Nina Reeves offering up a heartfelt apology, Liesl Obrecht taking matters into her own hands, and Trina Robinson hoping against hope that true love will win out in the end.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Ever the glutton for punishment, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) strolled over to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and attempted to right her many wrongs with an, “I’m sorry.” As predicted, Sonny did not take it well – though Nina did wind up better than others who betrayed Sonny; at least she didn’t get a bullet to the chest like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Opposite this, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) agreed that they were both happy to have Sonny back, and, at the same time, disappointed that they didn’t get to see where their marriage could have gone. Still, they love each other and will always be friends.

GH Recap: Wheeling and Dealing

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had a proposition for Liesl (Kathleen Gati): agree to help him with a top-secret project, and he’ll let her see her precious Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Sold, said Liesl…before going on the offense with a knife!

General Hospital Recap: A Friend In Need

A very shrewd Trina (Sydney Mikayla) has but one goal in mind: out that devious Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker…even if it means taking Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) down in the process.

The two most pressing matters are, will her friends join her in her quest – and, of course, it’s a big yes from Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) – and how to best go about it all. She’ll think of something, we’re sure.

Tipped off by Joss, Esme ran to Spoon Island (okay, she probably took the launch) and blabbed to Spencer that his beloved Uncle Sonny is indeed alive. What she didn’t count on was Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) taking that to mean that Avery is safe now and therefore Ava wouldn’t have to leave town. Nik took off to find her and Esme couldn’t understand why Spence didn’t see this new development as a disaster!
