The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, February 4, 2020, features Sonny deflecting, Jason doing what he does best, Tracy making her exit and Nelle being brought down a peg.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) attempted to interrogate one of the participants in the would-be massacre but got nowhere. Instead, he left the man at the mercy of a violent enforcer whom he hoped could extract some answers.
He retired to his home where he caught Jax (Ingo Rademacher) doing his utmost to get Carly (Laura Wright) to pack up her children and flee. Sonny demanded that his rival leave and refused to consider the suggestion that he simply gives himself up to save his family.
Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Ned (Wally Kurth) were less than pleased to find Nelle (Chloe Lanier) making herself at home in Monica’s living room and were aghast to hear from Michael (Chad Duell) that she had been invited to stay.
During a private chat, Ned promised his mother that he do whatever was necessary to get Oscar’s ELQ shares back from Nelle — and he agreed that perhaps it was time for a change in leadership. Satisfied that her son had his priorities in check, Tracy declared that she was heading back to Amsterdam. “Luke Spencer is a walk in the park compared to this.”
Meanwhile, Nelle was equally appalled to see that Michael had arrived with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) on his arm and she was quite surprised to be told that a) Sasha was moving into the mansion and b) she was being relegated to the boathouse…lucky for her it’s a fancy boathouse with central heating and indoor plumbing.
Across town, Anna (Finola Hughes) revealed to Peter (Wes Ramsey) that she had suppressed the evidence that tied him to the hospital assassin and promised “her” son that she would do her very best to protect him from a suspicious Jason (Steve Burton).
However, that might be easier said than done since Finn (Michael Easton) is growing more suspicious and wary of Peter every day — a fact not lost on Sam (Kelly Monaco) who thinks that she might have an ally.
Upon arriving at the warehouse where the prisoner’s interrogation was being conducted, Jason was thrust into a gun battle with the escaped baddie. He emerged victoriously and even managed to get the name of the man behind the attacks: Cyrus Renault. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
