General Hospital Recap: Nelle Is Free And Taking Names

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, January 15, 2020, features Nelle throwing her weight around, Lulu getting some answers, Stella trying to talk some sense into Sonny, and Nikolas preparing to make an important trip.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Having discarded her disguise and revealed her status as Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) widow, Nelle’s next order of business was to needle Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) with veiled threats about seeking custody of Wiley — her “husband’s” child.

When pressed, Nelle also admitted that her parole was pushed through after her heroic efforts in trying to stop Ryan Chamberlin’s prison break. After scuttling away from the memorial, her next stop was Monica’s house where she interrupted a tense standoff between ELQ board members – “There’s no way you started the stock meeting without me…right?”

Lulu Wants Backstory

After getting sprung from the PCPD — thanks for not pressing charges Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner)! — Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) adjourned to her house where explanations were certainly in order.

Turns out, “Dusty” met Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) years earlier in a music club in Lower Manhattan and after a brief time together, during which he served as the songstresses muse, they broke up. Or, more succinctly, Brook Lynn left him high and dry for a piano player.

Visitations

On invitation from Carly (Laura Wright), Stella (Vernee Watson) arrived at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) and did her best to dissuade him from enrolling Mike (Max Gail) in the latest clinical trial that he has researched. Despite some fair points, Sonny told Stella that he couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t at least try to extend Mike’s cognitive health.

GH Recap: Long Time Coming

Ava (Maura West) tracked Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) down to the Metro Court and did her utmost to get him to sign a postnuptial agreement but her ever-loving just wasn’t feeling it.

Laura (Genie Francis) interrupted the argument and was informed by her son that he was traveling to France to see Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) — to quote Ava, “Are you saying that Spencer still doesn’t know?”

When Laura expressed her hesitation at trusting her eldest, Ava assured her mother-in-law she would accompany him on the trip and make sure he sticks to his word. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
