More and more General Hospital residents are learning the truth about Wiley’s parentage and it looks like that story is going to have a major turning point very soon.

Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad’s (Parry Shen) little boy isn’t actually the biological child of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and late cult leader Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), but the presumed-dead son of Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier).

Nelle, however, has known from the beginning. She’s the one who handed over her newborn in trade for the infant Brad lost, in order to stick it to Michael. Now that it looks like the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth is about to come out, will Nelle grab the baby and run? What almost 5,000 fans expect:

Happy Endings

Wouldn’t it be awesome if she did, 92% of General Hospital fans cheer? For one thing, it would end this interminable story once and for all. That’s always a good thing. For another, it would accomplish what Nelle wanted in the first place — it would stick it to Michael.

And, as an added bonus, it wouldn’t saddle Michael with a baby, and a dad story. Because, really, after Sonny (Maurice Benard) finishes flinging barware around and expositing about how he is the greatest victim here, what story is left for Michael than just being a dad? Better if both Nelle and Jonah disappear for a while… until it’s a better time for both to return.

Mommy Furthest

If Nelle wanted to play Mama, she’d have done it to begin with, 8% of the audience counters. She could have claimed Wiley at any time, especially when it looked like he was in danger from Shiloh, but she never bothered then. Why would she bother now?

Dirty diapers and endless games of peek-a-boo don’t seem to be Nelle’s style. She can scheme better if she’s on her own. And she can run further, too. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
