The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, December 29, 2020, features Laura making moves and Jason taking a chance.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Laura (Genie Francis) and Jackie (Kim Delaney) met up at the Metro Court and caught each other up on the goings-on in their lives – proving once and for all that two women can have a romantic interest in the same man and still act like grown-ups about it.
The conversation included talk about Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) condition and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) status as Jackie’s son. Then it turned to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Laura surprised Jackie with the revelation that the villain was her brother, and Jackie, in turn, insisted they use that fact to cripple Cyrus’s criminal enterprise.
But Laura had another idea. An idea she assured Jackie, and later Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), would ensure justice for all. If only she could get Carly (Laura Wright) on board…
The Threat Is Real
Brando (Johnny Wactor) tracked Cyrus down and was issued a threat: betray his boss, and Cyrus will reveal Dev’s (Ashton Abrbab) status as an illegal immigrant. That truth, Cyrus promised, would mean jail time for Brando, Carly, AND Jason (Steve Burton)…and Sonny (Maurice Benard) too. If he’s survived that tumble into the frigid New Jersey river.
Yea, Cyrus knows all about that. And he’s prepared to make some big moves now that his main rival is out of the picture. But first, he’s going to do Jason the courtesy of having a face-to-face. Whether or not Jason will survive the encounter remains to be seen.
The Long Road Towards A Reunion
Over, down at Pier 55, Chase, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and a number of Speedo-clad gentle giants partook in PC’s annual Polar Bear Charity Dive. After pulling themselves back out of the water, and drying off, the two spent an awkward few hours with Anna (Finola Hughes), Finn (Michael Easton), and Gregory (Gregory Harrison).
In the pow-wow’s aftermath, Chase and Willow actually made dinner plans. Not romantic dinner plans mind you. Just dinner and conversation. And more apologies from Chase.
Meanwhile, Dante’s day went from bad to worse. Not only was he the last to learn about Sonny’s disappearance, but he also learned that Cyrus and Julian (William deVry) were the ones responsible for Lulu’s coma.
And the knowledge that someone is stalking his every movement probably wouldn’t help matters in the slightest! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
