General Hospital‘s Drew may be irredeemable at this point. He has lost his family and his friends with good reason. No one is thrilled with Willow either, but she may still have a shot at redemption.

Children First

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is a horrible wife. She cheated on her first husband Chase (Josh Swickard) with Michael (Chad Duell) and then cheated on him with Drew (Cameron Mathison).

She has made many poor choices concerning her marriages but Willow does love her children and has always been a good mother. Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia’s (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko) mom needs to continue to put their needs first. Michael may be in Germany receiving burn treatment but he should remain as present as possible in their lives. She should be assuring her kids that dad loves them and will be back as soon as he is better.

She cannot insert Drew as a replacement dad while their father is away.

Choose You, Not Drew

Willow has admitted that she may have a hero-worship issue. She falls for men who “save her” and believes that Drew saved her life when she had cancer. In reality, he was only a small part of a whole team that came to her rescue.

Willow and Michael’s marriage is probably irreparable, and they will divorce. The biggest mistake she can make now is quickly moving on with her boyfriend. It would be unhealthy for both the kids and herself. It is time for her to work on herself and maybe learn to be alone for a while before she jumps into another serious relationship.

Willow did make a good first move. When Drew surprised her with a new house and the idea of living together with all the kids as one big happy family, she declined. She wants to continue living with Nina (Cynthia Watros) for now. Her mom may not be perfect, but she knows how bad Drew is for her daughter.

It’s time for Willow to find her strength, put her kids’ needs first, and get rid of Drew. If she can do all this, she may end this whole debacle on a more positive note. Do you think Willow can be redeemed? Let us know in the comments.
