The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 17, 2019, features a whole lot of conversation and proves that the Pentonville prison authorities are just as inept as the PCPD.
An imprisoned Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) continued to indulge in his favorite past time — writing his most cherished sweetheart (make that victim) letters so full of purple prose that John Updike would weep. Also, NEVER send Ryan a written message that contains a hashtag or an emoji. He hates those.
And because Pentonville apparently believes that it’s okay for serial killers to bunk with lesser-charged criminals, Ryan got a new cellmate. Of course, it’s Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross), the man who holds Sam’s fate in his hands.
Jason (Steve Burton) paid Mr. Henderson a visit and revealed to him that Andre Maddox has identified him as his would-be assassin. So, Jason cautioned that it would be a good idea to just give up whoever Bryce is covering for.
Upon returning to his cell Bryce committed the ultimate faux pas: he thought a picture of Ava (Maura West) was hot. And since Ryan was still brandishing a nice and sharp pen that looked perfect for stabbing insolent punks in the throat, he prepped to do did what comes naturally to serial killers.
Across town, Kevin had a conversation with the man who is Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) but thinks he is Drew Cain. It’s Dr. Collins’ job to evaluate the state of Dranco’s mental health. Lets just say it’s still a bit iffy.
At Charlies’ Lucas (Ryan Carnes) blasted Brad (Parry Shen) for going to Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) parole hearing and lying about it but the pair managed to kiss and make up.
Across town at the Metro Court Laura (Genie Francis) and Ava had a female bonding moment together that was spied on by an unseen figure. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
