The General Hospital recap for December 14-18, 2020, features Julian and Sonny plunging into the drink, Laura learning an inconvenient truth, and more.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Julian’s (William deVry) long walk towards perdition seems to be at an end. But we say seems because you can never be too sure where that wiley Jerome is concerned. Everybody thought he had been shot dead way back in 1990 and yet, arise from the grave he did in 2013.
So, who’s to know for sure whether the two bullets pumped into his gut – one courtesy of a hitman employed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the other by mortal enemy Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) – actually did the trick?
What is certain, is that Sonny is now very much in the same boat as Julian – lost to a body of water somewhere in Seacaucus, New Jersey. Take note kids, when warned that a bridge is under construction, don’t wander out on it and expect it to support your weight!
GH Musings
So, Cyrus and the estimable Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are indeed half-siblings. What wrench do you think this will throw into the duo’s already fractious relationship? And what do you make of Cyrus’s backstory? The one that concerns his “accidental” murder of Gordon Grey?
Do you agree with the position that Curtis (Donnell Turner) took over Jordan’s (Briana Nicole Herny) secreting Taggert into Witness Protection?
How long do you think it will be before Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), he who dwells in a supposed permanent vegetative state, is up and about and holding his beloved Ava (Maura West) against her will?
Did you see Michael’s (Chad Duell) attack on Chase’s (Josh Swickard) groin coming? Or, were you as surprised as Chase was? Also, do you think that the dapper detective actually deserved such violent treatment? Or was it cathartic to see Michael letting out some of that pent up aggression? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
