General Hospital Recap: Jax Reads Carly For Filth And It Was Glorious

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 7, 2021, features Jasper “Jax” Jacks telling ex-wife, Carly Corinthos, all about herself, and Maxie Jones threatening to give away her and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s scheme.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Neither Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) nor Carly (Laura Wright) was particularly pleased to see Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) enjoying each other’s company.

So, while Jason tried to convince Britt that he’d always be there for her, Carly insisted to Jax that he cease and desist using Britt; Jax, in turn, pointed out how Carly chased away everyone she ever saw as a rival for Jason’s affection – and it’s a hell of a long list – and then he threw in his ex’s face her obsession with remaining in the mob. Though suitably chastised, Carly gleaned nothing of salient value from the telling off.

GH Recap: No Harm, No Foul

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recoiled so quickly from her kiss with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), that you’d have thought it was a snake that attached itself to her lips. Anna let Valentin know that, under no circumstances, would they ever become a couple. NEVER. EVER!

Meanwhile, after dragging each other into the drink, a thoroughly soaked Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) decided to level with one another; she’s upset over Jason marrying Carly; he’s upset that she’s upset. They share a drink at Charlie’s, then kiss underneath the fireworks! Afterward, they both decide that they will never ever become a couple.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) shared a kiss of their own, and decided that they just might become a couple…as long as no rival comes along to throw them off course…again!

General Hospital Recap: A Long Distance Relationship

Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) did her utmost to convince “Mike” (Maurice Benard) to go and meet Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in Port Charles, but he politely refused. Besides, he was quite content ringing in the 4th with his newfound family.

Meanwhile, Nina confided in Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) that she’d gotten herself a feller back in Nixon Falls…oh, and that Britt was about to get her heart broken by Jason. It broke Liesl’s heart too.

GH Recap: Mama Drama

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) continued to wear out her welcome at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) mansion – and raise alarm bells with the homeowner. Monica addressed her concerns with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) who promised she’d do something about her clingy frenemy.
