GH spoilers for Wednesday, July 7, 2021, reveal a broken heart, a cautionary warning, a sympathetic ear, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this new episode.

GH Spoilers Highlights

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seems to have been taken by surprise by the sparks that ignited with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). He, like the General Hospital audience, realizes that this was a long time coming. So now that it’s pretty obvious that they both dig each other, where will they take things from here? Well, if Anna listens to her head instead of her heart, this will never happen again. She insists it’s not what she meant to do and that Valentin thinks too much of his own charms — he’s way off base. He seems to know how to handle her and it keeps her off balance as she remains in denial to her growing feelings for the man. He’s not the one she should be caring about. Kind of reminds us of how she felt when she fell for a mobster named Duke…who was the love of her life. Hmm.

Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has a warning for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). She saw the way Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was holding little Bailey (and maybe she also saw the GH spoilers — she has time on her hands these days) and she warns her grand-niece that they have a big problem brewing. It’s obvious to her that Maxie has some issues and perhaps it’s time to bring in her parents to help her out. That seems rather drastic to Brook Lynn. Surely she can talk some sense into Maxie and she asks Monica to give her time to figure out how to handle things. How will BLQ fix Maxie’s mess this time, especially since Maxie seems unable to stop herself?

General Hospital Spoilers: Future Heartbreak?

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has a conversation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who has news she needs to tell her aunt. GH spoilers reveal that Liesl is heartbroken over the news that Jason is set to marry not her own Britta but rather Carly Corinthos. She just knows this will break Britt’s heart and it’s the last thing she deserves considering the future she faces. Nina does let on to her aunt that there may be something for her at least on the horizon — back in Nixon Falls but of course, she falls short of telling her she’s falling for a very not dead Sonny Corinthos. Will she return to seem soon?

She may want to hurry because Phyllis (Joyce Guy) is giving the man himself a pep talk about how if he misses Nina, he should get himself to Port Charles pronto and reunite with the woman who has captured his heart. While he does consider it for a second, especially when she hands him the keys to her car, in the end, Mike is right where he wants to be to celebrate the holiday — with his new family — her! The two have a great time watching the fireworks in Nixon Falls.

General Hospital: Looking Forward

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) put the past behind them. He wondered if he hadn’t been sold that line of bull from Dev if they’d be a couple right now. Joss says they never got the chance to find out but nothing is stopping them now. Cam wants to know if they can see each other the next day but Joss has plans. No worries — she will cancel on the poor person who thought they were spending time with her so she can hang out more with Cam. Oh, Joss.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is stunned to see Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) laughing it up with Jasper “Jax” Jacks, of all people. She makes it very clear that Jax spent the night and even if she didn’t, Calry will make it crystal clear to her fiancé what has gone down. He asks to speak with Britt and privately tells her that she meant something to him — she still does. That only serves to infuriate her as she lets him know he’s made his choice. While that’s happening, Jax will have some choice words for his ex-wife about how she has chased off all women who get close to Jason and perhaps she should give that some thought.

Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is sympathetic to Jason’s other heartbroken ex. He asks Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) if she trusts him as he tries to cheer her up by taking her back to Charlie’s for coffee. As they watch the fireworks, the two end up in a kiss but that shakes them both as they quickly part and separate. This is the first time he’s done anything with another woman since Lulu — and it’s obvious it hits him as hard as it has Sam.
