Which they both love like a child who doesn’t talk back. But there’s a hitch. Jason is in a new relationship with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). An almost equal 42% of the audience has seen GH spoilers too so they fully expect Jason to furrow his brow and think a little harder. Come on, dude, you can do it! Rub those brain cells together! There has to be more than one way to protect Carly – without sacrificing your own romantic prospects. You’ve done it before. (Remember when Jason pretended to be Michael’s father to help Carly? Robin was not amused.) You can stop now.

Oh, go ahead and marry her, 12% shrug, figuring it’s inevitable. You two can’t quit each other no matter what, so you might as well make it official. Carly has wanted this since Day One, and Jason hasn’t exactly committed to discouraging her. Sure, pretend this is just to protect her and the kids. Pretend anything you want. We know this was fated.
