The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 8, 2021, features Jasper “Jax” Jacks bringing a halt to Nina Reeves’s bubble universe, Trina Robinson letting Esme Prince know that she’s got her number, and a caper gone very, very wrong.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Try as she might, Nina (Cynthia Watros) couldn’t prevent Jax (Ingo Rademacher) from entering The Tan-o, nor could she postpone the inevitable meeting between her ex and her current beau – who just so happened to be her ex’s mortal enemy, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Luckily for Nina, the meeting didn’t trigger “Mike’s” memory; unfortunately, the animosity between the two men still lingered, though to “Mike,” it was all down to the fact that Jax was attempting to take away the love of his life. Jax was incredulous that “Mike” had fallen so hard, so fast for Nina…but couldn’t blame him.
GH Recap: Q&A
Though Trina (Sydney Mikayla) didn’t come right out and say – because she’s just a touch too classy – she heavily inferred that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker.
Esme took it all in stride, then flipped the situation on Trina, accusing her of having feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and attempting to sully Esme’s good name. Spencer felt bad for gaslighting Trina…not bad enough to come clean about his and Esme’s actions.
Opposite this, Ava’s new bodyguards – misunderstanding her orders – attempted to beat some sense into Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and failed miserably; he’s still determined to keep his wife from leaving town and divorcing him.
General Hospital Recap: Don’t Go Into The Basement
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) caper took a decidedly dangerous turn, which saw the ladies imprisoned in a basement rapidly filling with gas. As she anxiously awaited rescue by Curtis – alongside an unconscious Jordan – Portia cursed the fact that she’s keeping yet another secret from her daughter about her father.
