The General Hospital recap for November 30-December 4, 2020, features Julian Jerome escaping the icy fingers of death, a conundrum of epic proportions, and more.
Our actions don’t exist in a vacuum. That’s the lesson that Julian Jerome (William de Vry) is learning the hard way. He set off a bomb in a crowded restaurant, killed two innocent people, and injured a third. He’s been due for a reckoning for years now, and it finally came courtesy of Ava (Maura West). Blood may be thicker than water, but she had to draw the line somewhere.
Ava tried to offer her brother a peaceful and swift death, but Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) ill-timed appearance provided Julian the perfect opportunity to make a getaway – provided he survived the jump from the Wyndemere turret to the ground below. And he of course did.
Julian lived to fight and blackmail another day, and thanks to some timely procured material, he was able to elicit reams of cash and a carrier bag from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). But what’s his next move?
And where will Sonny and Jason go from here? They now know that Julian was complicit in Brad (Parry Shen) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby switch. Ditto the facts that Julian was the mad bomber and working on Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) orders. But will they strike while the iron’s hot?
Do you agree with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) doubling down on the decision to hide Nelle’s (possible) maternity from Nina (Cynthia Watros)? And how long can Carly keep little Avery apart from her “good luck charm?” You know, the one that proves a connection between the ladies.
Where do you stand on the debate concerning Sam (Kelly Monaco) continuing her relationship with Jason vs leaving him to ensure the safety of her children?
Despite all the goodwill, GH earned for its references to Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Ethan (Nathan Parsons), and Luke (Anthony Geary) we still have to ask. Where exactly was Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) during Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) final moments in Port Charles?
Boy, GH has certainly raided the archives in reference to Laura’s tragic, event-filled past. But between her recollection of David Hamilton’s death and the possible connection between Cyrus and her biological father’s wife, why hasn’t Laura reached out to Lesley (Denise Alexander)?
And speaking of Cyrus, is it too early to begin speculating as to Martin’s part in all this? Could he and Cyrus be brothers? Step-father and step-son? Could the two of them be Laura’s half-siblings via Gordon Grey?
Regarding Cyrus’s plan to smoke out Taggert (Real Andrews) – which requires manipulating Trina (Sydney Mikayla) into doing all the leg work. Inspired or doomed to failure?
Please, please, please tell us we haven’t already seen the last of Jane Elliot’s Tracy. Surely she’s going to show up at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson), insult her hair coloring, and admonish both her and Ned (Wally Kurth) for their handling of Brook Lynn (Briana Lane). General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
