But this latest violence? This latest violence, Sam just cannot deal with. Is it time for the couple to break up for good? What almost 4,000 would like to see happen to them:

It was a real close one but, in the end, 51% voted for Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) as the couple destined to stay together until the end, no matter what.
Does it really matter that Jason almost got himself and their son killed due to a mob vendetta? Does it matter that he didn’t answer Sam’s calls and texts, which would have reassured her that he and their son weren’t, in fact, dead?

What couple doesn’t have fights about things like this? It’s not the sort of thing you break up over. It’s not like Sam was disloyal to Sonny (Maurice Benard), or something…
On the Other Hand
Then again, an almost equal 49% of the audience pointed out that, most of the time, Sam and Jason look like they can barely stand each other, much less like a couple in love. Sam is tired of her and Danny (and Scout, remember Scout?) coming in last on Jason’s priority list.
He’s a man married to his job. And his job just so happens to be killing people. If she can’t accept both of those things, then it’s time for them to call it quits. Sure, Sam dumped Drew (Billy Miller) because he wanted her to be a boring corporate executive, wife, and mother, and not go on exciting adventures. Well, and because he wasn’t Jason.
But now Jason doesn’t want her to be a boring corporate executive, wife, and mother. And that’s bad, too. Also, he’s sending her away for her and Danny’s protection. You’re not the boss of me, Jason! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
