General Hospital Recap: Is Franco’s Condition Getting Worse?

The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 19, 2021, features Franco’s treatment catching up with him, Molly and T.J.’s best-laid plans going to pot, and Ava receiving an unwelcome gift.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Franco’s (Roger Howarth) radiation treatments began to take their toll. Out came the hair, and its replacement was sudden nausea. His condition deteriorated to the point that he and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) had to cut their Valentine’s Day date short and return home.

Altered States

Molly (Haley Pullos) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) anxiously awaited T.J.’s (Tajh Bellow) arrival at the “domestic partnership” ceremony they had impetuously scheduled…however, he was long in coming, so Kristina had to offer the clerk a bribe to keep put. Like father, like daughter.

Return To Sender

Ava (Maura West) and Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) Valentine’s Day dinner was marred by the arrival of strange gift addressed to Ava – a cockroach encased in glass…a far cry from the bracelet Nikolas had actually purchased.

Couple Corner

Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard) set off for the respective Valentine’s Day dates but each coupling hit a snag.

Chillow wound up spending an inordinate amount of time discussing Michael – though Chase claimed he was totally cool with it – and Masha had their evening interrupted first by the news of Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) shooting and then by a mystery phone call.

Comfort Care

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) fretted away her evening by stuffing goodie bags for GH’s younger patients – but at least she had Brad (Parry Shen) to keep her company and lend a helping hand. When he noticed her hand tremors, Brad worried for her health, but Britt claimed it was merely work-related stress. Later, a dejected Brad spied Lucas (Matt Trudeau) and Felix (Marc Samuel) outside his room making plans for the night.

Med Alert

After diverting Jordan’s investigation into his injury, Brando demanded an explanation from Jason (Steve Burton); exactly why did he put a bullet in his leg? Jason swore it wasn’t anything personal. In fact, he did it to help Brando. If he’s laid up in the hospital, he can’t be out looking for Florence, and if he can’t look for Florence, he won’t be disappointing and angering Cyrus (Jeff Kober).

School For Thought

Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) joined Cameron (William Lipton) at the Webber home to celebrate the holiday as a trio. As the evening progressed, the girls discovered Cameron’s acceptance letter from Stanford and encouraged him to attend the school. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
