The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, features Finn reaching his limit, and devastating news is disseminated.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) argued over the latter’s health, his inability to leave the hospital, and his problems with paying his medical bills. In fact, the two argued so much that Finn came a hair’s breadth from confessing that his (maybe) son is the victim of a targeted poisoning…one in which Finn was the intended target!
Unwanted Houseguest
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) accidentally stumbled upon a half-naked Olivia (Lisa LoCicero), and during the ensuing hullabaloo, only he, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) saw the funny side of the situation.
Bad News Travels Fast
After informing Robert (Tristan Rogers) of Sean’s passing, Anna (Finola Hughes) revealed that she was seriously considering forgoing the memorial service in order to stay and keep an eye on Chase and Peter (Wes Ramsey).
Finn and Robert convinced her to do otherwise, and Anna then joined Robert in heading over to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) to let her know about Sean. Valentin offered to act as a liaison between Finn and Peter while she’s away, which she appreciated.
Free and Clear
Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) found shelter in a bucolic Canadian lighthouse, and the former promised that they would be able to stay put for the foreseeable future. While that statement was music to Britt’s ears, she wasn’t as thrilled with Jason’s suggestion that she go to the nearest hospital and have her tested for Huntington’s. When objections were raised, Jason promised that he’d be with her throughout the process.
Fancy Seeing You Here
Nina (Cynthia Watros) and “Mike” (Maurice Benard) paid Corinth a visit and realized exactly what Elijah (Dan White) is up to. Up the crime rate, buy commercial real-estate on the cheap, and tempt chain stores to move on in. It’s a solid business plan…but it stinks to high heaven.
Pick And Choose
Carly (Laura Wright) invited Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) over in order to get her opinion on a little scheme she’s been pondering. What does the legal eagle think about Carly leveraging the news that Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) is about to become a grandmother in order to get her firmly on Team Corinthos? Not much, said Diane. But if that’s what Carly’s gotta do, then that’s what Carly’s gotta do.
Shoring Up Plans
With surprising ease, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) got Peter to agree to her trip out of town. The only roadblock? He wants Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown) to accompany her. No problem, says Maxie. She can just scheme around the nosy nurse. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
