The General Hospital recap for Thursday, November 4, 2021, features Spencer Cassadine finally getting a clue that his girlfriend isn’t all that she’s cracked up to be, worry that the mob is once again trying to infiltrate the Port Charles nightlife, and Valentin Cassadine appealing to his father’s better angels.
Esme Prince (Kristen Avery Pohl) is just awful. Her boyfriend’s friends know it. His aunt knows it. Heck, even Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), Esme’s new boss, knows it – and that shady lady thought that Shiloh was the second coming.
Luckily for Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), he seems to be getting a clue as well – and he’s also beginning to realize just how badly he screwed up with a great girl like Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
But further trouble awaits all who cross Esme’s path. This gal has got Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom) firmly on her side – or scared stiff, we’re still not sure which. Either way, this doesn’t end well for anybody…except Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner); she’s so far off her former tormentor’s radar that she and Mac (John J. York) will live happily together, off-screen, for decades to come.
Meanwhile, at Duke’s Club *ahem* at The Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and co. learned that someone attempted to beat some sense into Joey Novak – a not all together thankless job. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) thinks that it’s a sign of mob violence to come…and it may very well be. The mystery man who most likely supplied said beating still hasn’t revealed his agenda.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is an all-around great guy. He loves art. And conservation. And he remembers that his wife is a big animal lover. If only he hadn’t made that one little oopsie by cheating on Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) with Alexis. That’s the affair that just keeps on giving…or withholding…you get the drift.
Still, it’s easy to understand why he went all caveman on Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) when he caught the Aussie sucking face with Olivia – or, more to the point, having his face sucked by a bombed out of her skull Olivia. Will these two ever get it right, ever again?
Speaking of getting things right, if Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has his way, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) won’t be making any deals with the WSB. Valentin’s maybe father claims he’s got the goods on Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but Valentin doesn’t trust the man farther than he can throw him…and since he’s in the ICU recovering from surgery, that’s not very far at all.
