General Hospital Recap: Confrontations And Mysteries Solved

The General Hospital recap for October 26-30, 2020, features a pretty eventful Halloween week chock full of tricks and treats.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

All Hallows Eve 2020 provided the perfect opportunity for Alex (Finola Hughes) to make her move and replace her hapless twin sister in order to further her own evil agenda.

An agenda that we can only assume includes reuniting with Peter (Wes Ramsey), her biological son, and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) his soon-to-be spouse, and the mother of Alex’s grandbaby. Oh, and she’ll probably want to kill Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Get in line girl.

Helena Costume

Speaking of Peter, he spent the holiday summarily spooked thanks to a phone call purportedly made from Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). But have no fear, it wasn’t really the she-beast. She’s still (apparently) very, very dead and it was merely Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) playing around with a voice modulating program.

GH Musings

Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) claimed to be able to tell that the divorce papers that Ava (Maura West) presented him were false thanks to tips he learned from a roommate who met an unfortunate end…we’re gonna guess that Mr. Chamberlain was, at the very least, partially responsible for the said end. As for Ava – swing a miss, honey.

Thanks to Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) interference, Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) are more confused than ever where their marriage is concerned. One thing is certain…it’s no longer convenient.

Taggert, Taggert, Taggert (Real Andrews). He hasn’t exactly captured the subtitles required for someone who’s supposed to be playing dead, has he? Sonny (Maurice Benard), Jason (Steve Burton), Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) all know that he is alive and well. And now, thanks to Taggert’s ineptitude Julian (William de Vry) can identify him despite still being unaware of who he actually is. (Did he never read a newspaper?)

We’ve wondered from day one whether there was more to Jackie (Kim Delaney) and Finn’s (Michael Easton) story than mere marriage related tension, and now we know for sure. Consequently, we’re now pondering whether or not their long-ago affair produced an adorably goofy detective named Chase (Josh Swickard).

So, not only is Franco’s (Roger Howarth) psychosis-inducing tumor back but now it’s inoperable? Is this man just incapable of a win? And what of his poor family whom he wants very desperately to keep in the dark?

Are Alexis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) family and dwindling circle of friends just passively allowing her to bar hop and provide herself with at home vodka delivery? Surely it’s time for a full-blown intervention, yes? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
