The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 30, 2020, features Alex and Taggert making a nuisance of themselves, Ava overplaying her hand, Peter hedging his bets, and a raging thunderstorm tying everything together.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Just as a rainstorm broke out overhead, Anna (Finola Hughes) opened Faison’s test results and discovered that she is not Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) mother. (THANK GOD!!!) Though Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) rejoiced at the news, Anna expressed her disappointment by shattering some glassware.
Later, Anna was aghast to find Alex (Finola Hughes) prowling around her home – and donning a near-identical costume…the gall of that woman! With a baton in hand, Alex quickly subdued her sister, tossed her down into the never-before-seen basement, and assumed trick-or-treat duties.
Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery
Over at the Metro Court, Peter initially refused to believe that the woman he was speaking to was actually Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). But since the woman had survived more brushes with death than a cat, he decided that it behooved him to take a chance.

With the goal of permanently silencing his former partner-in-crime, Peter set up a meeting…which was music to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) ears. Not only did him acquiescing prove he had something to hide, but he also proved the worth of Spinelli’s voice modulating program.
Franco’s Malady
Over at GH, Terry (Cassandra James) informed Franco (Roger Howarth) that another tumor had formed on his frontal lobe. And this time, the mass appears to be inoperable. Rather than clue Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) in on his diagnosis, Franco decided to keep quiet for the time being.
Jerome Family Problems
Though he didn’t recognize the stranger in his bar as Taggert (Real Andrews), Julian (William de Vry) did remember him from the pier the night that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) absconded with Wiley. Taggert fled into the night – and headed straight for Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton). How he knew they were hanging out at the gym and not at home remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Ava’s (Maura West) attempt to bluff Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) backfired spectacularly…and resulted in a pouting Mr. Chamberlain making a beeline for the telephone. How he knew Sonny’s private cell phone number remains to be seen. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
