The General Hospital recap for April 13-17, 2020, features Charlotte being one who will not be denied vengeance, proposal drama, and Maxie getting EVERYTHING wrong.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Never underestimate a child scorned. Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) can forgive a lot of things. However, denying her horse a comfy stable is not one of them.
And though she had enough sense not to ruin Violet’s birthday party by placing her pet snake inside the little girl’s much-cherished Unicorn piñata, she couldn’t resist slipping it inside Ava’s (Maura West) handbag.
GH Musings
Now that Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) are all aboard the Protect Wiley Express, who or what is going to convince Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to accept that marriage proposal? She’s made it pretty clear that she isn’t interested in going through with the plan.
Maxie: “While Nina and Valentin were gritting their teeth, trying to placate Lulu, Lulu was more often than not, sitting in judgment of them.” First off, when did Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) EVER placate Lulu (Emme Rylan)?
Secondly, it’s pretty easy to sit in judgment considering Lulu didn’t attempt to murder a man for his wealth, or throw a woman over a parapet, or steal another woman’s newborn, or fake paralysis to play on a man’s sympathies or…
Maxie: “Robert, I have known you literally my entire life.” Not even close to literally. Especially when one considers the fact that Maxie was born on-screen in 1990 and both Robert and Anna were presumed dead between 1992 and 2006 thanks to Faison placing them on a boat that exploded. What is with this woman and her revisionist history?
Michael: “Nelle and I aren’t the first parents to fight over a child, or the first parents to demonize each other.” No, not at all. Custody battles are notoriously nasty in Port Charles.
The fight between Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric (Rick Hearst) over Molly (Haley Pullos) was pretty brutal and ol’ crazy pants Heather Webber didn’t even go through the courts – she just tried to drive Diana Taylor insane with copious amounts of LSD…and it backfired spectacularly.
But nothing will beat the extremes that Carly, Jason, and Sonny went to in order to keep Michael away from AJ. Meat hook, anyone? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
