General Hospital (GH) fans can swallow a lot. They bought a diamond dust weather machine. They bought a space alien.
They bought memories being stored on a hard-drive, and babies conceived before their parents even met, and that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) the evil villain also dutifully practices piano every day.
But Anna (Finola Hughes) having a secret baby with Faison (Andres Hove). That’s… a stretch. How big of one? Here’s what over 6000 long-term viewers had to say:

When Anna revealed that she’d given birth to Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) child and kept her hidden with an old Italian woman while pretending to be a (blonde) family friend name “Luv,” fans shrugged and said, “It’s a soap. It would be weirder if Robert didn’t have some long-lost child pop up sooner or later.”
Anna had a good reason for hiding Robin, and for lying about it. She was also married to and in love with the man, before she betrayed Robert and the entire Free World.
Anna hated, loathed and detested Faison. He was obsessed with her, and she suffered due to it for literally decades. So, no, her giving birth to his child absolutely does not make sense to 69% of you, nor does her keeping mum about it.

Collateral Damage
Spies sleep with their marks all the time (so says The Americans, anyway), so it makes sense to a smaller, 30% that Anna might have taken advantage of Faison’s obsession with her to seduce him.
Getting pregnant wasn’t part of the plan, but Anna wasn’t going to blame a child for the sins of its father. She had the baby and gave him up for adoption, just like Robin, to keep them safe. That’s totally Anna.
As for keeping it a secret, would you let Faison know you’d given birth to his son? It would only make him worse!
