The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 31, 2019, features Ava’s fears come to life, trouble on The Hunted Star, and Sam meeting her new cellmate.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Ava (Maura West) continued to eavesdrop on Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) conversation about Helena’s portrait and later revealed that as a J. Garin original it could be incredibly valuable and contain a hidden message within.
While exiting the party, Ava was disturbed by the appearance of a man in a white and gold mask whose eyes she seemed to recognize. Later, the same costumed individual followed Ava to the gallery and inspected the much in demand painting.
Ava – with her ever-dependable handgun at her side — got the drop on her stalker and demanded he remove his mask. Upon doing so, a shocked Ava uttered a single word, “Nikolas?”
The Kids Are Not All Right
At the Haunted Star’s High School Halloween Bash, Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) got buzzed on Sonny’s stolen booze and Dev (Aston Arbab) upset Trina (Sydney Mikayla) when she pulled him into a kiss and he said he wasn’t interested.
After managing to pull their own intermingling lips apart, dance chaperones Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) found Josslyn and Trina on the ship’s deck and quickly deduced that Joss had been drinking.
General Hospital Recap: Big House Problems
Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) new Pentonville playmate turned out to Cassandra Peirce (Jessica Tuck) who is less than pleased to be bunking with a bastard Cassadine’s offspring.
Sure, the family is made up of individuals who are “ruthless, avaricious and have a genetic predisposition for galloping insanity,” but at least they’re cultured and refined — unlike Sam.
When Sam wondered how Cassandra knew so much about her relatives Cassandra cryptically referred to getting lessons from Valentin and “others,” which seemed to include the man being held at gunpoint by Ava. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
