The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 23, 2020, features Ava and Nikolas kinda-sorta confronting a villain, Carly receiving some shocking news, and Bobbie taking a stand.
Though it was with much trepidation, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) set off to meet his blackmailer. Upon arriving at Pier 55, Nik recognized the person demanding cash for their silence and wound up running away before the transaction could take place.
Meanwhile, despite much prodding from Nina (Cynthia Watros), Ava (Maura West) decided that she must make contact with the money-seeking criminal. This lady isn’t about to let her dreams of living the high life and playing Lady of the Manor be shot to hell over a little whoopsie poo with Franco (Roger Howarth).
Mr. and Mrs. Cassadine briefly met at the Metro Court elevators and made plans to meet one another at Wyndemere later that evening. Afterward, Ava arrived at the rendezvouses point…brandishing her trusty sidearm. God help that unfortunate blackmailer!
Having caught Carly (Laura Wright) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) clearly conspiring together, Jason (Steve Burton) did his best to ascertain what exactly was going on. Carly hemmed and hawed about her secret shame and about how she couldn’t burden Sonny (Maurice Benard) with her truth.
But Jason was unconvinced. Instead, he argued that Carly should tell the truth to her husband and let him be there for her in her time of need. Quickly realizing the futility of her resolve, Carly agreed to come clean.
But just as she prepared to tell all about Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) fall, Jason received word from his PCPD mole. The search for Nelle has concluded…and her body has been located!
Ned (Wally Kurth) managed to track Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) to her new digs…but she was still uncooperative and unwilling to forgive him for his trespasses. However, Ned held fast to phrases like, “Now, is not a good time.”
Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) is a woman with decades of experience, where Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is concerned. She knows that he’s a good-intentioned, self-absorbed schemer. She knows he can be sweet. She knows he’s his own worst enemy.
But Bobbie also knows that Scotty is a bad, bad boyfriend. And that’s why she’s calling it quits. At least they can maintain their close friendship. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
