The General Hospital recap for December 9-13, 2019, features a rousing game of who’s gonna shoot who, a plan backfiring spectacularly, and a father getting answers from his daughter that raises quite a few questions.
Don’t you just hate it when you hire an assassin to kill some innocent people and then your maybe birth mother convinces you not to be a bad guy so you have to go and try to kill the man you shelled out good money for just a few hours previous?
Yeah, probably doesn’t happen to many people. But that was just the predicament that Peter (Wes Ramsey) found himself in. And to think. This whole mess could have been solved, without any bloodshed, if the hired gun had just kept his cellphone on his person. Who says we’re a techno obsessed culture?
Speaking of predicaments, Peter might have saved Franco (Roger Howarth) and Andre’s (Anthony Montgomery) lives with his actions but, it turns out, he’s a pretty lousy shot. Despite firing the gun at close range the would-be killer is still alive — though not terribly well — and now Mr. August has to worry about him waking up, as well as which personality will ultimately take root in Franco’s psyche.
After learning about the car accident that felled Brad (Parry Shen) and his hubby, Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was desperate to get out of Pentonville. But since nascent Black Widows are rarely let out on a day pass, she had to get creative.
Enter her abso-totes bestie Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom). He had absolutely no qualms about sticking a scalpel near her kidney — especially since Nelle promised to play proxy-stalker to his beloved Ava (Maura West) should she gain her freedom.
But it’s a case of a little to the left would have worked out better. Turns out her kidney is A-Okay so she went through that whole painful charade for nothing. Well, she did get to put the fear of God into Carly who thought her nemesis would be released due to her injury. That’s…something.
It’s almost unheard of for Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) to agree on something — except for the fact that Ned (Wally Kurth) is a great lover; both women can attest to the fact. But they were both sure that there was more to Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) return home than initially met the eye.
Boy were they right. After conferring with Lois (we like to assume she’s still out there sporting the …continue reading on the next page —>
Boy were they right. After conferring with Lois (we like to assume she’s still out there sporting the visage of Rena Sofer), Ned confronted “Brookie” and demanded some answers. Which were actually forthcoming.
According to Brook Lynn, she grew tired of her mom’s managerial style and sought greener pastures. She found representation through a great guy who sweet-talked her into signing away five years her life and then expected certain “favors” for his services. Brook Lynn, to say the least, was not obliging.
With Ava and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) partnership seemingly cemented, how long do you think it will last?
Which do you think hurt Sonny (Maurice Benard) the most? Having Mike (Max Gail) simply forget who he is or being confused for mobster Joe Scully — the man who served as Sonny’s surrogate father and mentor in the gangster way of life?
