The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, February 2, 2021, features Anna struggling to complete a puzzle, Alexis struggling with her hours-long sobriety, and Laura and Jordan struggling under Cyrus’s manipulations.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Try though she might, Anna (Finola Hughes) struggled to find a few moments in which she and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) could discuss the recent goings-on. First, the duo was interrupted by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who wanted to admonish Anna for the article her “son” published in his newspaper.
Then, an eavesdropping Anna was distracted by Franco’s (Roger Howarth) pronouncement that he was hearing Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) voice in his head and the dialogue seemed centered around Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
When she and Kevin were finally able to come together, Anna revealed that she was now more determined than ever to figure how Dr. Kirk’s death, Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) newfound freedom, Franco’s stolen memories, and Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) heroic efforts all fit together. When Kevin wondered if she’d pursue the truth no matter the outcome, Anna reluctantly admitted that she would.
Fault Line
Martin (Michael E. Knight) attempted to convince Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that his ploy to get her acquitted of her attempted murder charges would bear fruit, but Alexis wondered if the smarter gambit would be pleading guilty and taking her just deserved lumps.
After posting bail – courtesy of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) – Alexis barged her way into Dante’s room and tried to make amends, but her victim intimated she’d be doing the same to Sam (Kelly Monaco). A chat between mother and daughter spurred Alexis into agreeing to attend an AA meeting, but once in the room, Alexis attempted to flee.
We Can Work It Out
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) tried to pull at Laura’s (Genie Francis) heartstrings by sharing an old family photograph…but Laura saw right through him. Later, he made his way to Jordan’s (temporary recast Tiffany Daniels) office, mentioned that he knew her marriage was on the rocks, and offered her some quid pro quo. Help him locate his missing mother and he’d make sure that the charges against Taggert would be dropped.
Medical Help
Elizabeth easily deduced that not only had Franco seen Liesl but that the two of them were working together. He tried to assuage her suspicions but his attempts fell on deaf ears. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
