Beloved Daytime Emmy winner and General Hospital star, Nancy Lee Grahn, has made a big announcement that fans love to hear. Maybe this is something her onscreen counterpart, Alexis Davis, should possibly consider, seeing as how she could use a bit of unconditional love. The actress shared the news that she’s added to her family!

Nancy Lee Grahn Goes To The Dogs

That’s right — she and her fiancé Richard have added a new furry member to their family, making it complete. Grahn, who has been famous for her puppy love, announced in June of 2018 the sad news that her dog Payton had passed away. (Longtime fans may also recall her Golden Retriever Barney, prior to Payton, who was considered a national treasure by all who met him.)

“Richard and I adopted our 1st child together,” the actress revealed to her followers on Twitter, along with the four images she went on to describe. “A girl named Dillon. 1st Kate & Dill had a beer together, then she passed out on Richard & spooned with Kate for the night. Eventually, when they stop hogging her, Dill & I will discuss politics. #InLove”

Apparently, Grahn got her bonding moment with her new fur daughter — and her human daughter Kate captured it. The GH star shared it on Instagram — in which she can be seen being licked to death by Dill (who must be a Democrat, as evidenced by her liking her new mommy even after discussing politics). “At least buy me dinner first,” quipped Grahn in the caption.

Congrats came pouring in on Twitter from her GH co-stars, including onscreen rival (well sort of) Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) who said, “You got her!! I’m so happy for you!!!” Laura Wright (Carly), a new pup mom herself exclaimed, “She is just perfect!!!”

There is nothing better than the unconditional love one gets from a dog — and no one could use that more right now than Grahn’s character, Alexis. A new pup might not be able to save her from her current mess but it’d be fun to see one try. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
