The General Hospital recap for Monday, November 8, 2021, features the governor giving Alexis Davis the heave-ho out of Spring Ridge, Ms. Wu asking a big favor of Sonny Corinthos, and the young’uns standing around debating the pros and cons of virginity, and frugality.
Thanks almost entirely to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is a free woman – and she’s not the least bit grateful. But it’s not because she’s a bad person…although she has murdered a person or three. It’s because she doesn’t want to be beholden to her awful, awful nephew.
Try as she might, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) just can’t get behind the new and improved Sonny (Maurice Benard) – probably because he no longer lets her run around like a screeching fishwife, compounding situations, and generally making a mess of everything. Boo-hoo for her.
Speaking of Sonny, one minute he’s all, “Oh yes Ms. Wu, I’m forever in your debt, anything you need you just ask,” and the next he’s, “Yeah….I’m not going to honor your request that I help out Brad. He did something I don’t approve of, so it’s out of the question.”
Luckily, Sonny could promise not to kill and/or have Brad killed if he did get out of Pentonville; and since Ms. Wu (Lydia Look) is a smart lady who knows when to pick her battles, she declared that good enough.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have yet to consummate their relationship, and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Esme Prince (Kristen Avery Pohl) both find that darling. If only they would have had that willpower.
And speaking of willpower, Esme is ever so proud of Spencer for turning his back on his father, his princely title, and all that lovely money. She’s not at all a seething cauldron of rage. And she’s equally happy to hear that it was Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) who helped Spencer reach the epiphany that he can be happy on a busboy’s salary. In fact, she’s going to thank Trina – personally.
