If there is one thing we know about General Hospital fans, it’s that they never agree on anything. We see it every day in our poll results. So when it came time to picking the favorite story for 2019, the answers were all over the place. Take a look:
General Hospital: An Oscar For Oscar!
Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) story took the top spot for over 55% of the audience. Whether it was because of the tragedy of a young man being struck down before he’d even begun to live, Kim’s (Tamra Braun) unhinged grief, Drew’s (Billy Miller) quieter anguish, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) managing to make it all about herself, or the fact that a character a lot of folks never quite managed to warm up to was gone… the responses didn’t make clear.
New Nik
A much smaller 16% was grateful for the return of Nikolas, even if he was sporting a new face. The problem is, he hasn’t done much since returning. Seeing him with Ava (Maura West) is fun, but there’s a whole Port Charles out there. Go get it, Nik!
Maybe Baby
Only 12% of General Hospital fans voted for the saga of Wiley being raised by Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) while he’s really Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) presumed dead tot. More and more people are learning the truth. Except for the ones who really need to know.
Mapmaker, Mapmaker Make Me a Map
Franco (Roger Howarth) has been surgically implanted with Drew’s memories. Only 10% care to remember this ever happened. Everyone else would like to forget.
End Of Day
And an even smaller 7% of you voted for the Dawn of Day cult story. While Shiloh, played by Coby Ryan MacLaughlin was delightfully creepy, it’s not a day many of you would like to relive. Somehow, everyone was involved in this one, even Oscar. In fact, let’s call it a day. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
