Kim cried her eyes out on Monday’s General Hospital when she learned the man she convinced herself was Drew was willing to try becoming Franco again, thus ending her dream of living her life with the memories of Oscar’s father. As usual, Tamara Braun hit it out of the park with her performance.

Tamara Braun: Last GH Episode

Monday’s episode was originally supposed to air on Friday, but the impeachment hearings in DC pushed back GH’s schedule by a day. That means, Braun’s last episode as Kim Nero airs today as Hayden takes over Kim’s apartment and Oscar’s mother makes her final departure from Port Charles.

This wasn’t Braun’s first go-around on General Hospital, as she was the second actress to play Carly after Sarah Brown left the role. Braun also spent several years on and off Days of Our Lives as both Ava Vitali and then Taylor Walker. In between those stints, she returned to ABC as Reese Williams on All My Children.

“Want to see Kim Nero one last time? Tune in today to say goodbye. Thank you to all you wonderful people for your love and support,” Braun posted to Instagram.

Kim Nero arrived in Port Charles two years ago at Sonny and Carly’s Thanksgiving dinner and immediately believed Jason was Drew since Drew had Jason’s face when she knew him. (The identical twin has plastic surgery thing.) Eventually, Kim entered into a relationship with Julian, but her mind was always on the Drew she knew in San Diego who gave her Oscar, the son she lost to cancer earlier this year.

So, today we say goodbye to Kim, but remember, she is just quietly leaving town, so will she be back? Anything is possible…General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
