Even since Sonny accepted the fact that his dad had a problem no amount of yelling or barware throwing can fix, he’s been stumped over what to do.  Should he attempt to get Mike (Max Gail) every treatment for his Alzheimer’s and extend Mike’s life whether his dad wants it or not, or should he let him pass on peacefully?

General Hospital Polling

It’s a tough call. Nobody should have to shoulder something this serious alone. But who should Sonny (Maurice Benard) turn to? We have almost exactly 3,000 votes to guide him:

In Sickness and In Health

Ask your wife, 60% urge. Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny have been here before. When Michael (Chad Duell) was in a coma, and when they dealt with Donna’s spina bifida. Carly is the person closest to Sonny and she knows him best. She’ll be able to help him make a decision Sonny can live with.

Father Confessor

Sonny and Griffin (Matt Cohen) had a lot of conversations about God, wherein Griffin reassured Sonny that he was still a good Catholic – despite being a killer. For money. The church is VERY modern these days.

In addition to being a defrocked priest, Griffin is also a doctor. He can give Sonny all the facts, 23% of you reason.

Meaningful Looks

Jason (Steve Burton) doesn’t really talk much, which may be why only 12% of the audience thinks he could be a help to Sonny. But maybe he could grunt something. Or look pained in sympathy.

Son Rise

An even smaller 5% thought Sonny should turn to his son to discuss his father. Sonny doesn’t want to give Michael any ideas about putting his father out to pasture. Michael may want to follow in Sonny’s footsteps one day. And Sonny would never stand for giving up control of his life to anyone. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
