“Think Of Laura” was the song General Hospital used for her return from the dead — the first time. And now it’s time to think of Laura, again. Think of Laura, and which man is the best match for her. We heard from over 2,000 fans with some very strong opinions!
General Hospital: New and Improved
OK, so there was a minor bump in Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) marriage. His deranged — and presumed dead — identical twin brother, Ryan (also Jon Lindstrom), may have kidnapped Kevin, stuffed him in a mental institution, took over his life, divorced Laura, and slept with Ava (Maura West).
But that’s all over now. Kevin is Kevin again, Ryan is missing an arm, and over half — 53% — of you still believe Kevin is the stablest — and sanest — relationship Laura ever had. Which is kind of sad. But also happy!

Likely Luke’s Luck
A smaller but still substantial 44% of the audience can’t let go of the past. Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura. Luke and Laura put GH on the map. They put soaps on the map. They made them hip, and cool, and they had a solution for global warming long before anyone knew it was going to be a problem. If there is any couple in all of daytime that deserves to ride off into the sunset together, it’s this one.
First Love
Remember Scott (Kin Shriner), ask 2% of General Hospital fans. Scott’s only flaw as far as his marriage to Laura was concerned was that he wasn’t Luke. But, hey, not everyone is cut out to be a mobster rapist. Now that Luke is out of the picture. And everyone — namely Laura — has grown up a bit, maybe it’s time to give that first love another chance.
One and Done
A slightly larger than 1% contingent want to see Laura with Stefan (Stephen Nichols). He’s dead… for the time being. So…no. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
