Ever since the late 1970s, General Hospital men have seemed to come in two flavors: upstanding protector or lovable anti-hero. Once upon a time, we had Luke (Anthony Geary) and Robert (Tristan Rogers). Duke (Ian Buchanon) and Frisco (Jack Wagner).

Now we have Sonny (Maurice Benard). And Jason (Steve Burton). And Franco (Roger Howarth). And Julian (William DeVry). Yeah, that needle has shifted a bit. But which men for GH fans want to see more of? The view from almost 2,000 viewers:

Finding Felix

Remember Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel), the nurse who can make people laugh and give them a shoulder to cry on? Felix is what we call a nice guy. And 37% of you are tired of him finishing last. So things with Lucas (Ryan Carnes) didn’t work out. There are plenty of other fish in the sea! (Though maybe not in Port Charles.) But you would like to watch Felix fishing!

Big Mac

A slightly smaller 34% of General Hospital fans are rooting for Mac (John J. York) to return to the center of Port Charles life. He and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) are capable of so much more than babysitting James and making concerned faces in Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) direction. We’ve seen him do it before. Let’s see him do it again!

And then there is the 27% of you who remember the late 1970s, and how Scotty (Kin Shriner) got shoved aside in favor of that loveable anti-hero… who raped his wife. Isn’t it about time for Scott to make a comeback? Luke is… somewhere else. This is your time, man!

Only 5% are interested in the ongoing adventures of Martin (Michael E. Knight) and his coming and going Southern accent. He came, he lawyered, he confused you a little.
