It looks like General Hospital is into its second week being back on set and now two-time Daytime Emmy winner Nancy Lee Grahn, who has played Cassadine family member Alexis Davis since 1996, has shared her experience of what it is like being back at work in the age of coronavirus.
Nancy Lee Grahn Back At Work
The outspoken star is quite proud of her show and tweeted exactly what she thought of the whole experience. Anyone who follows her knows how she feels about people wearing masks and making sure those around them, possibly with compromised immune systems, feel safe.
“1st day back. The uncompromising detail & apparent hard work of all involved have my deepest respect. I felt safe, protected & more importantly that my being there was safe for others. Organizing this took epic care & I applaud all involved @GeneralHospital @Disney @ABCNetwork,” she wrote.
General Hospital is the third soap to return to work, following The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. As of right now, new episodes of GH are scheduled to begin airing on August 3. BB is already airing its new episodes and so far, there’s no word yet on when new ones will start on YR. Days of our Lives, which has enough new episodes to take them into the fall, is scheduled to return on September 1.
As for where life left off for Alexis, she had found out that her youngest daughter Molly (Haley Pullos) had acted out of character by having a one-night-stand with Brando (Johnny Wactor) when she thought she’d been ghosted by longtime love TJ (Tajh Bellow). But the lawyer has also been dealing with being disbarred after lying under oath.
Just who is Alexis if not a practicing lawyer? While she’s been through this before, it was only temporary last time. What will she do? Stay tuned to find out. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
