Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
The week of December 31, 2018
Lynn Herring is back as Lucy Coe on Thursday, January 3 to support Kin Shriner’s Scott in his hour of need.
The show will be addressing the passing of actress Susan Brown and, in turn, her longtime GH character Gail Baldwin, who was Scott’s loving stepmother.
Coby Ryan McLaughlin made his debut as Hank last week. The character shares a past connection with Billy Miller’s Drew, and also has current ties to a couple of other Port Charles residents.
McLaughlin likely looks familiar to daytime fans. He recently played Andrew, a cohort of Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson), on The Young and the Restless.
John Patrick Jordan wrapped up his stint as Peyton Mills on December 27, after an encounter with Jon Lindstrom’s Ryan.
