The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 28 features a very busy — and bloody — New Year’s Eve in Port Charles.
Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) begin the night with Jason telling her all about his strange encounter with a man named Hank. They were both intrigued, but things were about to get even more intriguing.
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) started his evening with rubber gloves and a sharp object, but it turned out Curtis (Donnell Turner) was supposed to meet with the filmmaker. When Curtis arrived, he found blood everywhere and immediately called Jordan over.
They both realized this could be another murder by the same person. That same person was busy spending time with Ava (Maura West) after he killed and she was none the wiser.
And there was still a party going on at The Metro Court. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was Chase’s (Josh Swickard) date, but he was then called to the murder scene. Michael (Chad Duell) asked Willow to hang out with him rather than going home but she demurred. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was also intrigued by Willow.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) convinced Julian (William deVry) to go spend some time with Kim (Tamara Braun) at the hospital, but when he got there he saw Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim kissing.

Kim had just told Drew that Oscar was conceived on New Year’s Eve, but they both regretted the kiss afterward. We are not sure why she didn’t mention this last New Year’s Eve.
Finally, Jason and Sam were on the terrace at midnight kissing, and not trying to resist like last New Year’s Eve. As they were about to lean in for another kiss, Jason spotted something strange.
When he wiped some snow away, he found the filmmaker’s dead body on the ground.
