Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) middle child and Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) eldest daughter is back on the scene this week. Look for Lexi Ainsworth to resurface as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. The actress will share scenes with her daytime sister, Kelly Monaco’s Sam.
That was Kevin McCorkle playing Dr. Rose. The physician tended to Marshall (Roberts Gossett) when he was rushed to General Hospital, after collapsing.
General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
