It’s time for a mother and child reunion. Kristina Wagner returns as Felicia Scorpio-Jones, this week, to offer emotional support to her daughter, Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Wagner was last on the scene in May of 2020, when the soap aired its memorial service for Sean Donely (John Reilly). Reports are that the actress is back on contract status with the show.
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air. The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
