General Hospital C&G News

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of August 31, 2020

Good news for Kelly Thiebaud fans. The actress is heading back to Port Charles as Dr. Britt Westbourne. And, this time around, she’ll be sticking around for a while as part of a specific story arc.

Thiebaud made her last appearance on the soap in March, hooking up with William deVry’s Julian and causing trouble for Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis and Joe Flanigan’s Neil. Her first air date has yet to be announced. Perhaps she’ll show up and announce she has a little surprise for Julian resulting from their few nights together.

Jacklyn Zeman is back on the General Hospital set filming scenes as Bobbie Spencer for the first time since the soap’s COVID-19 shutdown. Expect to see the character on air soon. Will she be there for daughter Carly and learn what really happened to Nelle (Chloe Lanier?)

Emil Beheshti has been playing Dr. Fisher, the surgeon tending to Brook Lynn (Briana Lane), while Chris Muto has been portraying Officer Daniel, the cop stationed outside the character’s hospital room. Will the doctors be able to save her vocal cords? She is a singer, after all.

Elizabeth Morton played Vera, the jogger who ran into Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and alerted Chase (Josh Swickard) to the direction she was headed. (Don’t miss that turn at Occidental or you’ll be driving for hours, Nelle.)

Please note that air dates may be subject to change. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
